Assessment and Reflection on Homework 3

This assignment is to be done INDIVIDUALLY.

Once you complete and submit HW #3, you will be given a sample solution file to assess your work. Each problem you did should be assessed according to the following rubric, with the exception that problems 2 and 3 (Problems 6.8 and 6.9 from Paar) should be assessed together:

   1 point: Meets expectations (All or most of the problem is correct and demonstrates understanding)
   0.7 points: Partially correct response, but shows some signs of misunderstanding
   0 points: Problem missing or shows significant errors

• Report on your overall assessment. For which problems did you meet expectations? Which problems did you show some signs of misunderstanding? Do you understand what you missed? What was your final score (something out of 9 points)?
• How has your knowledge of public-key encryption and RSA grown or been reinforced? What do you still feel less than confident about? What resources have you been using (textbook? online resources? friends? instructor?) that have helped? Which might be more effective?
