Meet TAs, Work, Learn
The Computer Science Collaboration Center is an online space to hang out, work on computer science by yourself or with your peers! TAs are available for assistance during several time blocks every day from Sunday through Friday. See the Collaboration Center schedule for more details. You can also ask questions in the Online CS Collaboration Center and feel free to ask our DSA any questions you may have about CS courses.
COMP/MATH 300 - Automata, Formal Languages, and Computability - Spring 2021
A new quarter begins and new knowledge awaits! Welcome to Automata, Formal Languages, and Computability (COMP/MATH 300). This is a class for all students who want to learn about automata as mathematical models of computation and formal languages, which play a central role in the specification and translation of programming languages and the fundamental capabilities and limitations of computers.
We have an awesome group of TAs at the CS Collaboration Center where you can go to work with classmates and ask any questions you have. And, of course, my office hours are available to you. Check my weekly schedule and please stop by; we can talk about the things you don't understand, the things you do, and other related (or unrelated) topics.
One last thing: diversity and inclusion are critical for the achievement of excellence in computing, as in other fields. We are all responsible for ensuring that our class and the Collaboration Center remain a space in which everyone can learn, participate, and contribute to each other's learning experiences.
