Thinking about what you have learned about using Python to program in a scientific
context this quarter, reflect on the following questions.
-
What did you
find to be the most interesting? What did you find to be the most
challenging?
- How might you use anything that you learned (if anything) in any of your
science or math courses?
- What
have you noticed about your own programming skills? (This could be
something like
getting stronger, weaker than I thought, better than I thought, etc.)
- How, and to what extent, did you make use of the AI tool that suggested code to you in
Google
Colab? Was it helpful? Did it make it easier to learn to code in Python? Did it make you question what you were doing? Did it make suggestions
that were too complicated to follow? If you continue to code in Python would you like to
continue to have this tool to assist you? Why or why not?
- What do you think
will stick with you from this quarter if you take additional CS courses?
You should take some time to write your reflection; don't just hastily
type up a few quick thoughts. Step away from your computer and do some
thinking about these questions. Your response should be in
complete sentences and paragraphs. Submit your pdf document on Kit.
