Note 1: If you are not pre-registered or pre-approved for a course and
you think you should be, contact the appropriate department. It may be
that pre-registration information has not yet been submitted to the
Registrar's Office.
Note 2: Contact Laura Easter, the Assistant Registrar, at ext. 7203
for instructions on how to use Smart Registration
if you plan to overload or underload.
Registration Procedure
Generate a Registration Worksheet. If you provide your
student ID, the worksheet will tell you whether you have been
pre-approved for any courses next quarter.
Prepare for your meeting with your advisor.
This includes
reviewing the
course
schedule for next term. Identify courses that
interest you, including alternates.
You may want to use the check boxes at the top of the online
schedule to look at all new courses, courses with no prerequisites, or
courses that meet specific requirements.
Meet with your advisor, bringing with you your Registration
Worksheet.
By the end of the advising session, you should have
a completed Registration Worksheet, showing preferred courses
and typically three to five alternates per course.
Your advisor will then
clear you to register online.
Log in and register your preferences online,
using the button on the left.
